Homework for Tues., Feb. 11

Spelling - Pre-Test Tom. List 24

Science - Test Tom. p. 102-135

Reading - Mrs. Lucy's work

Updates:  I left a note on the board for each child to please ask his/her parent/guardian to provide a pencil, an eraser, and a sharpener if he/she does not already have them.  We have students continually requesting to borrow an eraser.  Also, students consistently do not have a pencil.  I think at one point I suggested a pencil pouch, but you as parent/guardian may need to remind your student to have the needed supplies on hand.  We waste valuable class time simply tracking down pencils, erasers, and then sharpening the pencils with 'shared' sharpeners.

Thank you.

Sorry for the delay in getting this sent out.  I'm having to sit in one of the fale's to get internet access.  For some reason, the internet is not working in the apartments on campus.

Writing - Write (at least 5 sentences) about what you think is special about birthdays

Also... please NOTE:  A Parent/Guardian needs to sign and date the paper that I sent home today with tests and quizzes stapled to it.

Updates:

Thank you for sending in empty boxes.  We hope to decorate our boxes TOMORROW.  I think we may be about 5 or 6 boxes short of having enough for the whole class.  Also, if you have red, pink, or purple construction paper (or even wrapping paper), stickers, glue and/or tape, please send those with your student TOMORROW.

I'm still planning on a field trip... just unsure of a date yet.  But, I will let you know.
