Updates:

Please don't forget to send either an empty shoe box or a large, empty tissue box with your child to class.  Each child will be decorating his or her own box in which to put Valentines.  (I have not yet told them about this.)  Have a good weekend!

Thanks to those who have sent in paper towels.  We sometimes go through one roll in a day... depending on the size of the roll, the temperature outside, and the number of spills.

Updates:

Students were to have written for five minutes on a topic of their choosing this past weekend.  Only five out of 21 students turned this assignment in today.  Also, only about half of the students turned in their Spelling homework that they had over the weekend.

I have received some report cards back from students, but not all report cards have been returned.

On Thurs., Jan. 16, I sent home tests and quizzes stapled together with a "coversheet"  that parents/guardians need to sign and return to class.  Thank you to those who have signed and returned that sheet.

Also, thank you to another parent who sent in some paper towels today.  They are greatly appreciated.
